I just can't get over that Jeffrey Dahmer and Ted Bundy both became born-again Christians before they died. I also can't get over that people can seriously ask "why" God would allow people into Heaven who have committed such heinous crimes, when those same people, probably five minutes before, complained about the concept of "Hell" existing at all.

What do people want, exactly? Do they want God to punish the wicked in Hell, or do they want God to just blindly forgive everyone even unrepentant murderers and just put their fingers in their ears whenever the word "Hell" comes up?

How about a nice middle-of-the-road approach, where God provides a way for people to be saved and go to Heaven, but isn't afraid to give out punishment if they don't follow that way? Oh, hey, that's exactly what the Bible teaches! Wow!

Overall the concept of people like Jeffrey Dahmer and Ted Bundy being in Heaven shouldn't be seen as a bad thing. On the contrary, it's a wonderful thing for us to keep in mind, that if those crimes can be forgiven, then certainly, we also can be forgiven. The saving power of Jesus is astounding. It's also a testament to God's love for us, that not only is God willing to blot out our sins, but wants us to be in Heaven forever with Him so much, that He will reach out to anyone, from liars to gamblers to alcoholics to occultists to porn addicts to serial killers, and say to all of them, "I love you, and I don't want to see you suffer. I know what's in your heart. I want you to be forgiven and be happy and safe in Heaven forever."

May God bless you all and guide you according to His perfect will! In Jesus' name. Amen.
