It's Beginning

I've been telling people since at least 2020 that we were in the "birth pangs" described in [Matthew 24]. If you still think the Bible is an outdated book written by clueless cavemen 2000 years ago, let's look at that briefly.

"For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray."
- Happening in our world all the time

"And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom"
- Russia/Ukraine, Hamas/Israel, Venezuela, civil unrest in the USA, and many more. Remember that I don't typically keep up with current events. These are just tidbits I hear from other people.

"and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places"
- covid-19, nipah virus, measles (after it was eradicated), zika, ebola, climate change and its various diseases whether directly caused by the climate or indirectly by waking up long-gone viruses from ice. The number of earthquakes has gone up dramatically recently, starting at 9,462 in the year 2000, up to 18,152 in 2025.

ALL THESE ARE BUT THE BEGINNING OF THE BIRTH PANGS.

"Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake."
- Christianity is hated on all sides. Authoritarians hate Christianity because it conflicts with the laws they wish to pass, and the society they wish to build. This is why many of them (including the Nazis) have weaponized Christianity, pretending to be part of our group, while secretly trying to change our doctrine to fit their desires. Libertines hate Christianity because of its (supposed) association with authoritarians, and because of its strict code.

"And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray."
- The most obvious is Donald Trump. Because of him, Christianity has been weaponized more than ever by wicked, power-hungry people, teaching a perversion of the truth. All over the world now, you can find people promoting racism, misogyny, nationalism, nazism, xenophobia, murder, and more, all in the name of God -- the same God who condemns all these things. This is a textbook case of a false prophet, and many are being led astray. But don't be mistaken, it's not just him. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of so-called "christians" with political power right now who have no regard for Christ. Look at the Bible, and then look at their policies. The two will always contradict each other. And all this is avoiding the spiritual lies in the church. I've met "christians" who believed in ghosts, reincarnation, that Mary alone can save souls, divination, witchcraft, Michael and Christ being the same person, and much more. I've met Christians who supported recreational drug use, and the practicing of lust. The "church" is in a dire place right now.

"And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold."
- Happening as we speak.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

I am not an expert in the book of Revelation. Nobody is, and if they claim to be, they are probably a false prophet. Much of the symbolism can be used as vague guidelines, but with most of it, specific things can't be discerned. However, what I do know is the voice of God. And while I do not know for sure, there's a very strong possibility that Revelation itself is starting to happen, and that the four horsemen have already gone out.

I do not know what the white horse represents. I've tried to look into it, but there is no conclusive, agreed-upon interpretation, so I won't speculate about it.

The red horse deals with war, and war is already happening, as described above.
The black horse deals with famine, which is beginning. Commentators seem to describe the prices of food becoming very high, which is already happening today.
The pale horse deals with death, the text mentioning "sword... hunger... death, and with the beasts of the earth". All of this is happening every day.

The four horsemen are each let out after one of several seals is broken on a scroll. With each one broken, another horseman goes out. With the fifth seal, no earthly happenings are mentioned, but the prophet mentions [an interaction in heaven]. We don't know of course, but this could have already happened, too.

If correct, this would leave our world currently sitting at the sixth seal, where the sun becomes black and the moon becomes blood-red. This has not happened yet, unless of course, it's symbolic of something else. It may very well be.

But don't be mistaken, later things are already falling into place, too. Later on, we see,
"The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth. And a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up."
Fire and blood have not fallen from the sky yet. The trumpet must not have been blown yet. But between wildfires and climate change, the "third of earth being burned up, and a third of the trees, and all the green grass" is already happening.

"The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed."
This is also in the process of beginning, thanks to pollution.

"A third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from the water, because it had been made bitter."
This happens every day, primarily but not exclusively in third-world countries, and is apparently set to become even worse when the trumpet is sounded.

This would leave us at the fourth trumpet, where "a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light might be darkened". This may be symbolic, or it may be literal. Whichever it is, nothing with a clear present-day parallel has happened yet.

Do you want to wait until these things are fully fulfilled, or will you repent today, the signs being put right in front of your face, all around you in the real world every day now?

  1. I appreciate this post, and I've thought about all of this extensively recently. I appreciate what you said about people claiming to be experts on the book of Revelation - how can they know? Though I think we can gain some understanding of it if we try to understand the Old Testament, it is still extremely symbolic and bizarre in several ways.

And with the events that happen, do you ever wonder if our Lord causes some things to happen that could appear to be these events to turn people back to the proper way? Much in how suffering can be used to turn people toward this...To turn people back to prayer? To be clear, I'm not saying I don't agree - I've really thought all of it appears to be so, and we've been living in the end of days since Jesus Christ was crucified. I'm just wondering if this is a tool that God would use for this purpose.

I also wonder how much of it could be used in counterfeit by the opposition, taking advantage of the allegorical nature of Revelation to absorb worship for the Anti-Christ. When we deal with these darker forces, when we fight them, we are dealing with ancient spiritual forces that know man, our habits, our ways very well - but they are not omnipotent or omnipresent, and cannot read our minds, they know deep and fascinating ways to manipulate. Layers upon layers. Interesting and terrifying how sin, spiritual neglect, spiritual trauma, and hate intersect and pull on even the most spiritually mature and assured.

All of this, regardless, is to say that discernment - all discernment, plain old Christian discernment, discernment of spirits for those who operate in that gift, becomes extremely important in our walk. Personally, this has been hard recently. Anger and impatience has really been a struggle the second half of 2025 and at the very beginning of 2026. It is likely something I will always struggle with, when it is so easy to speak in black and white hypotheticals and then fall into a giant crater of grays that we can only hope we're following guidance for.

Hope you're doing well, I look forward to more posts.

    1. The enemy will absolutely twist Revelation to their own goals. I believe there's even an example in Revelation itself - in Revelation 13:13, the second beast makes fire come down from the sky. Revelation 20:9 shows God making fire come down from heaven on Satan's armies. It makes sense there would be people who see that first rain of fire and think it's the one from 20:9.

They're smarter than we are, but not by a whole lot. They're very limited by God's power. For example I'm pretty certain that most of what the demons did to me and taught me in the old days was done as a "refining in the furnace of affliction", slowly moulding me from an occultist into a proper servant of God. The demons would never do this on purpose - I reason that since I was already so far gone by my own ignorance, they were then given authority to deceive me (I was in NO WAY under, or entitled to, God's protection back then), were happy that "that mean old God" finally allowed them to do this, and were blindsided years later when they realized God used them to prepare me for Christian work later on (Romans 8:28). The same happens with other people constantly. Be aware of them, they are hostile and malicious, but don't let them scare you. Fear itself can be a manipulation tactic.

Anger and impatience are always a struggle for me, too. Always. God has helped me make it better, but I am far too stubborn and sinful, it is still a problem. I'm sorry for being so absent. I'll reply to your message hopefully tonight. I've been absent with everybody, not just you.
