(Additional Notes) Demoniciduth - Enemy of Satan

These are notes the band wrote in the lyric booklet for their album "Enemy of Satan". These notes are written at the top of each page, followed by the actual song lyrics. These notes are also available when you click on each song title [on Bandcamp]. I just wanted to have them all available in one convenient place. For more info on Demoniciduth in general, including the aforementioned song lyrics, see the Unblack Archives page for them [here]. Oh, for the record, there's some text on the inner sides of the CD packaging. If you were wondering, they say: (left) "Enemy of Satan - Fear not the serpent - His fate has been foretold - In the pages of old". (right) "DEMONICIDUTH MMXVII".

March of the Dead
"Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light" - Ephesians 5:14

Christian Metal Worldwide
The purpose of that song is to reaffirm what Christian Metal ought to be. Christians believe that the Bible is God's exclusive revelation to mankind and Jesus' sacrifice the only way to salvation. Such a statement can stir up much opposition in our increasingly secularized world. Does it mean that backing away from a clear stand for the truth of The Scriptures is a viable solution to reach our generation? By no means! "Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through The Word of Christ" (Rom. 10:17) So we should be determined not to beat about the bush. And determined we shall be!

Destiny
The Bible says that "man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment" (Heb. 9:27) But there is "no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Rom. 8:1). The Son of God suffered the penalty for our sin through His death on the cross and rose again on the third day, so that all who believe in Him and repent from their sin will have eternal life, but those who don't will be condemned (John 3:16-18). Therefore we urge you to receive God's grace: "Now is the time of God's favour, now is the day of salvation" (2 Cor. 6:2)!

Crucify
Originally written in 2003 under the name "Cut Off", the song depicts the Christian's daily war to keep in step with the Spirit, something we cannot carry out by our own, as the apostle Paul realized 2000 years ago when he wrote: "Who will rescue me from this body of death?" while immediately adding: "Thanks be to God through Jesus to sympathize with our weakness, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need" (Heb. 4:15-16). Amen!

The Holocaust of Our Generation
In Jeremiah 7:30-31, we read that God pronounced a sentence against the people of Judah because they were burning alive their children in sacrifices to the gods Moloch and Baal in an area of the Valley of Ben Hinnom called Topheth, from Hebrew "toph", meaning "drums", for the cries of the children were masked by the sound of tambourines. Likewise, in the ongoing debate over abortion, pr-choice proponents use 'rhetorical tambourines' to mask the fact that abortion is murder. Although modern fetology has confirmed the Bible's claim that human life begins at the very moment of conception, abortionists still question the human status of the unborn. The same kind of reasoning prompted Nazi Darwinian Germany to kill about six million Jews. They denied their full humanity, calling them "Untermensch" (subhumans). Abortion is the holocaust of our generation and it is our duty to expose the deeds of darkness (Eph. 5:11) and engage our culture with a biblical defense for the sanctity and dignity of human life: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart" (Jer. 1:5)

Enemy of Satan
The Bible warns us: "Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour" (1 Pet. 5:8). We are told to "Resist him, standing firm in the faith" (v. 9). Faith in Jesus is like a shield which "can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil  one" (Eph. 6:16). Several examples in the gospels demonstrate that demons are terrified when confronted with Jesus. Thus, Christians shouldn't fear the devil, "because The One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). Satan's doom is settled: "And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulphur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever" (Rev. 20:10). The whole purpose of that song and album is to remind everyone that Christ has all authority in heaven and on earth (Matt. 28:18). We are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ our Lord (Rom. 8:37)!

Megiddo Massacre
This is a song about the justice of God. Jesus said that a time of great distress – unequalled from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be equalled again – would befall humankind, adding that if those days had not been cut short, no-one would survive (Matthew 24:21-22). Indeed, man will be scarcer than pure gold (Isaiah 13:12) when God will bring charges against the nations, judgment on all mankind and put the wicked to the sword (Jeremiah 25:31). Does God punishes too harshly? Holy angels don't think so: "You are just in these judgments... Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are Your judgments" (Revelation 16:5, 7). Rather, our righteous acts are like filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). We deserve to die for our sins (Romans 5). But the point is this: God loves us and gave His Son to take our punishment (Isaiah 53:5), so that "whoever believes in The Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects The Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on Him" (John 3:36). Hebrews 2:3 aptly summarizes: "How shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation?"

Dogs of Antichrist
This song primarily addresses the dangers of satanism through a tale about a man who made a pact with the devil. Thinking that Satan would treat him like a son, he was instead treated like a prisoner and a slave. In the end, Satan sent his dogs to claim his due. The poor man was devoured (the dogs imagery was borrowed from Greek mythology, namely the legendary hell hound Cerberus). If you feel like you're in a dead end, trapped and without hope, we tell you: Come to Jesus! He is your Saviour, your Deliverer and He said that He came to save what was lost (Matthew 18:11).

Anti-Anti-Anti-Anti...

Don't just be anti-antichristian. That is to say, don't just be against Satan. There are many pagans, atheists, even occultists who are "against" Satan and several of his teachings (other theological inconsistencies aside). For example, a wiccan who worships "mother earth" will be against satanic/luciferian religions, because they direct worship to something other than nature.

... But "being against Satanism" is not enough to get these people into Heaven, to save them. Rather, it will be LOVE for Jesus Christ.

By all means, stand against Satanism / Luciferianism / etc. These belief systems are deceitful, false, lying filth, and they deserve to be called out for the spiritual garbage they are. However, don't let your anger toward evil, get in the way of your devotion to good. Let's take a non-spiritual example: it's good to protest when the government does something bad, but it's also good to be charitable -- try to help those in need, who are less fortunate than you. In the same way, it's good to be against spiritual evil, but it's also good to learn from, and give due worship to, God -- learn patience from Him; learn His scriptures; accept salvation through Jesus Christ; learn what "salvation" really means, and why it's important for your growth. As much as you pray for change in the evil things in this world, ALSO pray to God with your gratitude, your happiness, etc.

It can be difficult to strike a healthy balance between these two things, but it's important. "Wrath" is considered a sin for a good reason, after all! Not practiced VERY carefully, it's easy for anger to hinder your progress, instead of helping you achieve positive change in life.

May God bless you all and guide you according to His perfect will! In Jesus' name. Amen.

Good Doggos in Christian Metal

Recently when I was doing some updates on Unblack Archives, I seemed to happen upon a lot of artwork involving dogs. I love dogs, so I got this idea (that sounded A LOT better in my head than it does now that I'm actually typing it out, lol). Anyway, here are some dogs (cute in a cute way, and cute in a creepy way) that I find in the Christian metal scene. I'll probably update this from time to time. Click on each image / open each image in a new tab to view in higher res.

^ From Verdelger's compilation album! Here are some better-quality images of the front artwork:
If I can somehow find the original reverse artwork, with the howling wolf, I'll update this!

The thumbnail for deathcore project Horcrux / Horcrvx's song "Spitting Nails".
The original didn't really show any obvious "gore" at the bottom, but I figured I'd crop it anyway, just to be safe.

Drottnar with their "new vocalist"!

More will probably be added here at some point!

Spam Bots and Their Hocus Pocus Lies

Since Dr. Gbojie wants to get his message out so badly, why don't we help promote him a bit? :) Today I found a bunch of spam on BOTH of my blogs (this one and Unblack Archives), all of them with the exact same message about one "Dr. Gbojie". Here's his special message!

I read about many different ways of how to but DR GBOJIE caught my attention, I immediately contacted him and explained my problem to him. It was amazing and surprising that 11hrs after the spell was cast, my Husband called me and was begging me to forgive him and accept him back, Couldn't believe that it was happening some time later he came to my house and fell on his knees asking me to take him back which did. I am testifying on this forum just to let people know that DR GBOJIE is real and genuine. don't hesitate to try him out. thank you DR GBOJIE your such a kind man.. Contact him now if you need your Husband back or your husband moved to another woman, do not cry anymore .. Here’s his contact: Email him at:
[redacted] , you can also call him or add him on Whats-app: [redacted] ,

"Love spells" are lies. Human beings do not have innate magical abilities, and cannot "cast spells". Any human being CLAIMING to possess these abilities is either lying, or being misled by spiritually poisonous beliefs. Either it's psychology / sleight of hand, or it's spiritual lies.

In times of old, human beings could indeed perform supernatural feats... HOWEVER, these powers were given to them THROUGH OTHER BEINGS. The prophets of ancient Israel did not have innate powers in them. That is, God did not choose them as prophets because of their powers. Rather, God gave them the powers, and afterward, they became prophets. The things these prophets did, demonstrated the power of God. Not the power of themselves. Human beings are at the mercy of supernatural forces -- it's as simple as that. Whether the forces are divine or demonic, we are at their mercy. We are not as powerful as the spiritual forces in the world. We CAN overcome the evil forces, but even then, we need the help of a divine figure to accomplish this. (The divine being, of course, being God, called "YHWH" or "Jehovah"... no other 'gods' can truly help you! ONLY God, father of Jesus Christ!) We do not have the power, by ourselves, to do any of these things.

More than likely, this "Dr. Gbojie" has no ties to the supernatural, and is simply an opportunistic scammer, like any "psychic" you call on the phone, or any "psychic" who makes educated guesses about you... and calls it "psychic powers". But regardless, his message is being read by people in an impressionable society. And it's important to realize how wrong his message is.

Things like this also move the goalposts from the "greater good" to "what makes me feel good". The supernatural isn't simply about working miracles, doing whatever you want, because what you want may not be what you need at that point in time. If God is powerful, why doesn't He heal all our problems right now? The answer is simple: because these problems help us to grow. As a parent disciplines a child, so God uses hardships to teach us things, and help us become better, stronger people. You don't just say to God (or to any supernatural being), "Hey, something bad happened and I don't like it, make it stop!" and they just say, "Okay, here you go!" .......... unless that being is trying to sell you something! (For example, Satan will OFTEN promise things to people... but those "things" will always come with a price. The things Satan gives you, will seem good at first, but they will always bring disaster.)

The word of God has already gone into the world. Most people have either accepted, or rejected, the word. There is no need for miracles, because the message has already been spread. Thus, things like "solving your problems with magical spells" are unnecessary for the divine purpose. At best, they are lies to make money. At worst, they are demons attempting to work in the world, and lead you down a path of demonic lies.

In a world where so many people are losing faith in the spiritual, letting their pride and desires take them away from righteousness, it is easy to fall for things like Dr. Gbojie's "spells". People have an innate longing for the spiritual -- we were created with this longing in our hearts -- and things like this are an easy way to fulfill that longing. However, YOU NEED TO USE DISCERNMENT! Do not fall for "new age" lies like this!

If you want to follow the path of truth, DO NOT LISTEN TO DR. GBOJIE, OR ANYONE LIKE HIM. Yes, there are spiritual forces in the world. They are very real. However, many of them will lie to you, and make things seem different than they really are. Either Dr Gbojie is a scammer, or he is working with these lying spirits... Use discernment! Turn to Christ, and don't listen to new age liars!

May God bless you all and guide you according to His perfect will! In Jesus' name. Amen.

Polytheism Makes No Sense

All physical matter is made of the same core things. Protons, neutrons, electrons ... There can be no god "of" water, for example, because said god would also have control over everything else that's made of the same things water is made of... which is everything in the physical universe.

Even if we just have a theoretical set of "gods", that don't have designated powers over any one thing, polytheism still makes no sense. These beings can't be true gods if there are several of them. There would have to be some overarching concept that would make them "gods" as opposed to being something else. Whether it's some kind of power that is bestowed upon them, something in their DNA, or anything else, the mere fact that it has the ability to make things "gods" proves that this "overarching concept" is then higher, more powerful, more purely divine than all of the gods, and if this "concept" were removed from them, they would be mere mortals.

This also means there can be no god "of" music, or war. Without a higher being (in this case the power/DNA "concept") defining music or war, these things have no meaning. At what point does a disagreement become a war? Is it when some arbitrary number of people are fighting for the same cause? Is it when there's a certain amount of bloodshed? Is a simple fistfight a "war" just because there's violent intent behind the people participating in it? Also, when would a god "of" music have authority over a sound? Is there a certain amount of melody or rhythm that would need to be present for said god to have dominion over it, or to create/inspire it? Would such a god be incapable of creating certain kinds of music (such as noise or drone) because there's no melody or rhythm? Or is a god "of" music capable of having dominion over all things perceivable by the ear, including footsteps, wind, people chewing food, and so on?

In a monotheistic belief system, a deity is both a god, and the self-sustaining, overarching concept that facilitates divinity, at the same time. Thus, said deity is godly, divine, in and of itself. This is the most logical idea of a "god". A monotheistic deity has power over all things -- not JUST a small handful of ideas or elements -- and is the highest ultimate truth. There is nothing above a monotheistic deity, in terms of power or righteousness. Otherwise, the thing above that deity would be "god", not the deity. Also, terms like "music" and "war" can be given definitions by said deity, and hold up on their own merits. A monotheistic god of war would also be the monotheistic god of fistfights, small battles, and so on. A monotheistic god of music would also be the monotheistic god of all sounds.

I'm aware these arguments don't point exclusively to Christianity, but I feel they're important to say anyway. Polytheism is still prevalent in the world, and it's still leading its adherents astray. There are tons and tons of posts on here defending Christianity itself -- explaining why the singular, overarching higher power, is the God of Christianity, as opposed to some other kind of singular higher power, and I would very strongly encourage you to read some of them. The point of this post is simply............. polytheism is invalid!

Recreational Marijuana

Lawmakers want to legalize recreational marijuana (meaning, NOT medicinal, it CAN get you high) so they can tax it and use the money for things like "education".

If these same lawmakers, who claim to care so much about common people, passed laws that made the United States a livable country, where people weren't constantly stressed about whether they could afford food and medication; where "education" actually MEANT learning about important things that will be relevant in life instead of trigonometry and the year Columbus landed in America; where people didn't have lifelong student debt because college costs tens of thousands of dollars and simple textbooks are allowed to cost hundreds of dollars; maybe the people using recreational marijuana wouldn't need it legalized, because they wouldn't need to get high to avoid all the problems that lawmakers are putting on their backs.

Did you ever think of that?

Ideas (US Law)

We need to allow exceptions to the fourth amendment in court cases. There are so many criminal acts that can only be proven ["beyond a reasonable doubt"] if footage and audio recordings, created without the consent of at least one party, can be provided. Emphasis needs to be added that this would only apply in legal matters, and not any other matters (eg YouTube videos or television programs where an actor or an "unsuspecting victim of a prank" are not properly debriefed before the footage is distributed).

There also needs to be more restrictive legislation regarding pornographic audiovisual content. Given the sensitive nature of human sexuality, there needs to be power of the participants to have content involving them removed from the internet at any time. This may be difficult to explain in brief terms because of the number of exceptions and loopholes that may arise, but it is certainly possible to close these.
- Contracts by porn companies that include a clause such as, "I accept that I cannot have content in which I participate removed from websites", are rendered null and no longer legally enforceable. This doesn't necessarily need to apply retroactively to contracts that included such clauses before the legislation passed, but if it can apply retroactively, hey, go for it.
- If a participant changes their mind and wants it reuploaded, this cannot be done. It's a one-time rule: if it's removed once, it's removed forever. The decision cannot be undone. This part doesn't need to be part of the legislation, but it would be the best way for all involved to avoid a bunch of headaches where people change their minds frequently, websites are always under pressure to keep up-to-date on which films are allowed and which aren't and remove them all the time, etc.
- Yes, there must be proof that the participant in question was involved. Alibis, prior contracts that were signed, social media posts, lists of films provided on the actors' official web pages, etc.
- It may be difficult in some cases to define what does, and does not, fall under "pornographic content", because of course, not all sexual fetishes involve direct sexual activity. This ......... you know, this can be addressed some other time when I'm not half asleep! The basic idea applies though, if there is clear sexual intent behind the recordings (maybe statements/emails/etc that discuss ["beyond a reasonable doubt"] the sexual intent behind the recordings in question).

This is hardly written in proper "legalese".
It's just two basic ideas I've had.
For the time being, I just want these ideas to get out into the world somehow.
More action may be taken later, depending on a large number of things.

ADDITIONAL NOTE:
Although I am posting this on a Christian blog, this legislation does not entirely line up with my own beliefs. It should not be mistaken for me trying to push a personal, or a Christian, agenda. If it were up to me as an individual, all pornography would be banned altogether! These two ideas are ones I believe should be enforced according to the US law's portrayal of human dignity, and its portrayal of valuing justice. My own values are much more restrictive than what I've written here.
May God bless and guide all of us, according to His perfect will! In Jesus' name. Amen.

RE: "Disabling parts of the brain with magnets can weaken faith in God [. . .], study finds"

I heard about this awhile back. I really think it needs a public blog post, though.

The [study] alleges that people's beliefs can be changed by restricting parts of the brain that process "threats".

I'm not going to focus on the immigration part of it. I'm only going to focus on the "faith in God" part.

The only reason one's faith can be decreased by taking away "threats" is if one's faith is already based on threats. The fear of divine punishment is real, but it should NEVER be the only thing keeping one hanging on. In that case, it's not faith at all, but rather, fear.

Christian teachings are primarily backed by [history], [prophecy] and [facts]. Of course there will be anecdotal evidence that can't be proven with science, but that's par for the course with almost anything one experiences -- Christian or otherwise, "religious/spiritual" or mundane.

If effectively disabling one's sense of "fear" is enough to reduce their faith in God in the light of how many centuries of evidence, philosophy, archaeology and more, ............... there was never faith there to begin with.

If you truly believe in the truth of Christianity, then you won't need the emotion of "fear". You will acknowledge the truth of Christianity as you acknowledge the color of the sky; as you acknowledge mathematical principles; as you acknowledge time passing on a clock; as you acknowledge the changing of seasons; as you acknowledge anything.

Disabling parts of the brain with magnets CANNOT weaken faith in God.

May God bless you all and guide you according to His perfect will! In Jesus' name. Amen.
